A new day, a new week, a new semester-Here we go.

I don’t know if you had a wonderful winter holiday-some were busy receiving offers, while others traveled to some fascinating places. No matter what you did, whether you got an A or a D last semester. Just leave it. The new one is coming! There are delicious snacks to share, games and clubs to join. Except for the bad weather, nothing much to worry about. Irrespective of what happened yesterday or last year, and what may or may not happen tomorrow, the present moment is where you are-always! So, if you plan to work harder. Do it now, start it today. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery. Well, you can’t control the things that happen to you but you can control the way you react them. Practice keeping your attention on the here and now. Your efforts will pay great dividends.

And also try to be brave, to be confident. Success is accepting the challenge of difficult. Actually, I wasn’t sure if I could deliver the first speech standing here when Miss Xu called me, but it could be a good start, I thought. So, don’t be afraid to bite off more than you can chew .Take big risks. Never hang back. Get out there and go for it. After all, isn’t that what life is all about?
