“The Classics Reproducing Show of HFLS Junior 3 Students officially ends!” With the beautiful voices of our outstanding hosts, the last Classics Reproducing Show of the English Festival in our junior high school ended. What a normal ending! But how spectacular the performance was! Behind these four excellent shows, was our hard work  and efforts in the past two months. Without our efforts, this show wouldn’t have been such a great success!

Me Before You from class 4, Pride and Prejudice from class 3, Dracula from class 1 and Sherlock Holmes from class 2. None of us would have ever conceived of these classics in the ways our performers presented. We’ll never forget the perseverance of Louisa Clark when facing William Traynor’s stubbornness. We were also heartbroken because of the twisted relationship between Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy. The valiant Van Helsing dazzled us in the fierce battle against Dracula. The Hound of the Baskervilles disguised the truth, but only Holmes and Watson saw through Stapleton’s nasty tricks. Oh, and don’t forget the songs and dances from the hosts and “Joy and his friends”. Bravo!

It is hard to believe how much progress we have made in the past three years. And all of us would like to express our thanks to the teachers who have made great efforts to help us. Thank you!

We asked the directors from different classes about their feelings about the whole show, now let’s take a look!

初三1班  Dracula

5月25日，初三年级在一号楼6楼进行了“经典重现” 的剧目表演。初三（1）班所表演的《德古拉》比较冷门，但由于演员强大的表现力、艳丽帅气的服装、超乎想象的群舞、精美的ppt以及优秀的导演，仍博得了场下观众的阵阵掌声。

记得当时我考虑剧目时，想到了假期里要求读《弗兰肯斯坦》的时候，我买了一本三合一（弗兰肯斯坦、德古拉、化身博士），于是我毫不犹豫地将我的想法告知了我们的另一位导演——杨乐遥，谁知竟一拍即合，快速地决定了剧目。

经过一波三折的排练后，便到了演出时间，由于我们的大部分重要道具在24日下午才刚刚抵达战场，所以道具组的同学还不是非常熟练，但经过一整天的刻苦练习，他们在演出的时候完全达到了我们预想的效果。其他所有演员的表现也都十分出色，唯一不足的是我们这次演了差不多40分钟。

虽然在这过程中我们遇到许多困难，但团队的力量使我们强大。

初三2班  Sherlock Holmes

这次活动是我第一次带领班级进行经典剧活动，是一次非常特殊的经历。整一场演出准备历时四个星期，其中需要负责选材、沟通、排练、购置等一系列工作，耗费了大量的人力和时间，中间也遇到了一些小挫折，比如大家都有参与英语节的很多任务，找到一个共同的时间排练也是一个问题。同时，我们一个年级一共有三个小教室，找到合适的场景也并不简单。但所有人都十分努力的在为整一部剧付出，剧本一次次被推翻以修复其中的一点漏洞，动作、路线和语气也在一遍遍修改，大家也都不断地提出意见和改进。在大家不断的精益求精之下，结果非常令人满意。我相信这会成为大家初中外文节的一次美好回忆。

初三3班  Pride and Prejudice

5月25日刚结束的经典再现活动，对于三班的《傲慢与偏见》剧组来说，没有遗憾是不可能的。毕竟我们为了这20分钟的完美呈现，花费了整整四周的时间打磨剧本、商议主演、正式排练，虽然舞台效果不错，但是我们仍旧对自己的表现感到不是特别满意，我们在许多方面都没有做到最好。但是比起遗憾，更多的是酣畅淋漓。我们的导演组、演员组、道具组在不停推进的时间与剧情中不断相互磨合、相互碰撞，最终却都能找到一个共同的角度，为了完美地重现经典而奋斗。在此由衷感谢本次参与的所有演员，导演，编剧和工作人员（特别致敬各位不辞辛劳的妈妈们），我们会永远铭记这次的pride and prejudice，我们永远不会停止对经典的探索与重视。

初三4班  Me Before You

第一次担当导演这样一个重要的角色，从选剧本时的几番更改，到选角时的激烈竞争；从第一次排练时整个教室里弥漫着的尴尬气氛，到后来大家渐渐熟练；从一开始的低效率，到大家自发维持纪律……我们，每个人都成长了许多。感谢大家给了我这个机会，也感谢每一个人这几个星期来的努力！

The experience of directing the Classic Play was memorable for all of us. Everyone did their best job. Although we didn’t get loads of prizes, I think everyone from our class is the best in that morning. We practiced all day and all night, recited our own lines and think about how to express the characters’ feelings to the audience.

I’m very grateful that I had not only participated in this year’s so many activities , but also been given the leading role---Louisa Clark in the play < Me Before You >. It was also the first time that I had really learned a lot, from how I can express my emotions properly to the audience to the way we can use the stage fully and correctly. I really appreciate this experience.

《Me Before You》是我们整个剧组都非常喜欢的一个故事，在敲定了要演它之后，大家既充满期待又感到一种压力。对于我来说，怎么在剧本里尽可能留下最棒的剧情且使其一波三折就成了最大的问题——好在剧本初成型后，大家又在排练中给了我一些意见，一起将剧情变得更加连贯，从而得以搬上舞台。尽管奖项公布时我们多少有些失意，但在剧本的第一个字被写下到剧组全体上台谢幕完毕这一过程中，每个人都付出了最大的努力，投入了最大的爱……Therefore, I believe we are the best.
