我抽到的问题是“what majors do you know about in ECU”,问题非常的细,也很偏,于是我有些慌张,而且说得时间有点长被评委打断了。

The Experiencing Western Australia competition is undoubtedly a memorable experience for me, both as a challenge and as an opportunity. Although it was a tough time for me to recover from the despondency of the failure in the previous Experiencing Europe competition, ultimately I managed to overcome the difficulties and learned a great deal.
Preparing for the contest requires endeavors, but simultaneously it paves the way for your further development. It’s filled with countless pieces of information but full of joy and interests. It keeps consuming your time relentlessly, yet will also repay you with equivalent improvements in not only verbal English skills but an open mind to embrace and learn about different cultures.
I should express my sincerest gratitude to all those who have supported me, especially the four conscientious teachers, without whose help I could never have fulfilled such great achievements. Thank you for your supervision, your suggestions and your consolation to me when I was down.
I have some suggestions for those who would later participate in the same contest.
1. Try to regard the preparation as an opportunity to learn, thus arousing your curiosity and adding color to the previously dull and troublesome process.
2. Attach enough importance to both sections. We were most disadvantageous as a result of our unsatisfactory performance in the listening part.
3. Self-confidence is decidedly crucial. Before and during the competition, you should always demonstrate the confidence from within. The judges will like you as long as you do what an HFLSer will do.
