Hi, my name is Stephen Prescott but all my friends and family call me Steve. I come from the industrial town of Manchester in England. Did you know that Karl Marx and Freidrich Engels did most of their study of the effects of an industrial lifestyle on people in Manchester?

Karl Marx had a small apartment above a shop near to where I was born.

Today, Manchester is much more famous for its two big football teams. These are Manchester United and Manchester City.

My favorite team is Manchester City and I have been following them since I was 5 years old.

I have 4 children who are my 3 son’s aged 39 years, 34 years and 33 years old and I have a daughter who is 29 years old. All my children have a master’s degree, my youngest son is a PhD in medicine and my daughter has begun a PhD in math and pure math.

When I was younger I enjoyed lots of outdoor activities, such as running, hiking and camping. I loved being active and I am very sociable. These days I am a little lazy, but I am starting to improve my fitness and I intend becoming just as active once again. I think exercise is very important.

My favorite things are, being a teacher, history, Manchester City and football in general, breakfast I love having a Chinese breakfast and I like spicy Mexican style Pizza’s. Oh and cake, I love cake.
