为迎接六十周年校庆，为师生们提供一个展示创意与才华的平台，丰富同学们的校园生活，学校外文节举办微电影比赛，通过微电影这一富有创意和趣味性的形式，鼓励同学们积极参与、展现风采，提高团队合作精神，激发创新思维，为校庆增添一份独特的文化气息。

从文脉兴盛的西溪之畔到静谧典雅的和山脚下，散落在六十年历史各处的点点微小改变凝聚在一起，成就了杭外现在的模样。如今的杭外人，在小和山的一草一木之间，在无数前辈留下的独属杭外的生活方式之中不断成长。杭外六十年历史中的一个时间片段穿过岁月，潜移默化地改变、塑造了大家。同学们用他们的笔，他们的镜头，说出他们与杭外的故事。

“Never lose your zeal.”落笔写下这段话，心中思绪万千。我们的故事很励志，少年追梦，一路荆棘与鲜花并存；我们的故事又很简单，它勾勒的是每个杭外人的青春烂漫。微电影不仅是我们在平凡生活中放飞想象、纵情驰骋的“乌托邦”，更是一次对各方面能力的综合挑战。回顾几周紧锣密鼓的创作，从初期的剧本编写，到拍摄的团队协作，再到后期的视频剪辑，无不需要剧组成员的高效沟通与密切配合。这次高一6班作品得以创造一连斩获四奖、满载而归的“奇迹”，与同学们的热情投入与积极付出密不可分。“你我皆风华正茂，梦死方坠人生暮年”，愿那随风而起的誓言，能伴我们傲然前行，一路繁花。

为什么高二还想拍微电影呢？数着日子，惊觉自己马上加入所谓“大人”行列的时候，却发现好像还什么都没有留下来啊。“作为一个杭外人的我”这样的主题实在是易于发挥，“拍点什么吧，随便记录一点自己当下的宇宙也好。”于是虽然耗时甚巨且学业繁忙，仍然一往无前。Corners想传达，杭外（又或者这个世界上）有那么多的舞台，但同时又有那么多隐蔽的地方和独处的时光，这些“角落”等待每一个“不完美小孩”慢慢地成长。我这样长大。这是我和杭外的独家故事和珍贵回忆。

特别喜欢在微电影中主角“OFF”的一句台词：“I'm eager to participate.”对我来说，这句台词就是最好的感想。短短三周内，大家飞速成长的演技是惊喜的，更重要的是我们随之建立的深厚友谊和团队精神。主角返校校友George回忆往昔，遇到了数年前的drama night排练。OFF放眼现在，看到了不善于交际又渴望突破自我的自己。如此场景，正是我们每天在HFLS所经历着的一切，这样的场景使得这部微电影更像是对于初中生活的总结。每个人在成长的过程中都会遇到自己的挑战和困难，但也正是这些经历使我们更加坚强和成熟。最后也特别感谢所有为了微电影付出的老师、同学，和大家一起真的收获了很多美好的回忆！

Winning the Best Actor award is truly an incredible honor that fills me with joy and gratitude.

Initially, I was attracted by the complexity of my character, which required me to explore deep emotions and show the changes to the audience. It was a challenge that I finally decided to give it a try, pushing myself beyond my comfort zones.

Additionally, I am immensely grateful to the technical students. Their effort in lighting, sound, and editing polished our acting into the final film. Students who worked behind the scenes make me be able to finally bring my character to perfection.

This award inspires me to act with greater enthusiasm in the future. I can continue to learn, grow and hopefully make better performances. Thank you to the everyone for loving our microfilm and thank you to the judges for recognizing our hard work.

It's a great honor for me to receive the Best Director Award and the Best Popularity Award for this microfilm-making activity. I want to express my gratitude to the crew members and actors who strived to achieve the best together with me. Without your understanding and cooperation, we wouldn't have received such recognition. I especially want to thank Yvette（Liao Xuyinuo）, who has quietly dedicated herself behind the scenes. From script writing, casting, and scoring to editing, she has been involved in almost every aspect.

The Filming Process

During the filming process, we learned how to resolve conflicts. From the initial disagreements over camera positions to finally reaching a consensus, we gradually mastered more efficient ways of collaboration. Additionally, this filming experience made me realize more deeply the power of teamwork. A microfilm is a collective creation, and every stage relies on the effort of each team member. Whether it's the brilliant performances of the actors or the silent dedication of the crew, every part is indispensable to this film.

The Microfilm-making Activity

This microfilm-making activity has sparked the creative side of the students, allowing them to tell an imagined world through the shots. In this world, the stories can be oppressive and profound or whimsical and hopeful. Time and space are no longer obstacles, allowing creators to fully unleash their imagination and exhibit their best creativity.

At the same time, this activity also gave students a chance to relax amid their busy schedules. Through wide shots, close-ups, slow motion; with wide-angle, fisheye, and telephoto lenses… the genuine emotions of the characters are vividly expressed through the language of the camera. Students would sometimes burst into laughter at the scenes, and sometimes feel sorrow for the protagonist's hardships. They temporarily set aside the worries of reality and immersed themselves in the world on screen.

Lastly, filmmaking is a process of striving for perfection. Only by being down-to-earth, carefully scrutinizing details, and repeatedly reviewing the work can one produce an engaging film.

Seeing our collective efforts transformed into the images on the screen and hearing the audience's laughter brings me immense joy and satisfaction. This filming experience was not only a rare creative endeavor but also a profound spiritual journey. I am grateful for the hard work of the entire team and the support of everyone involved. This experience will forever be etched in my heart.
