HFLS CAL Centre Runs Collaborative Teaching in English Department
In the spirit of teamwork and professional development, the English Department at HFLS CAL Centre is opening their classroom doors to invite other English teachers to enjoy their lessons.
Ms. Menton provided the opportunity for her colleagues to observe a lesson with her Year 2 Literature class on one of literature’s most significant icons, Sylvia Plath. The lesson explored her most famous poem, “Daddy”. Colleagues were witness to: quality classroom instruction, high level literature analysis techniques and communicative learning.
Demonstration classes of this nature allow for feedback from teaching peers, exchange of resources and a level of professional responsibility that is required by teachers to guide HFLS CAL Centre students through challenging content.
