Just simply experience it and enjoy it!

Carpe diem.

Participating in the Star of Outlook is about rediscovering, both as an individual and as a community. On this stage, we dare to show. Even though it is an English talent competition, to me it is really more of a tryout for courage and confidence. Here I would like to give out my sincerest gratitude to everyone around me who has always been there to support and inspire me.

Every time I attend a competition, I give myself the goal to make friends, gain experience and win. The “Outlook Star Competition” is definitely the one on the list.

I really valued the time and opportunity that I could be on the stage, sharing my thinking about the thing I enjoy. Some people had told me to let the judges believe my words, but I didn’t agree. What I was doing on stage was that I try to let myself believe my words, and let judges believe my heart.

Winning the First Runner-up in Hangzhou Final and the Second Runner-up in Zhejiang Final made me proud of myself, but also made me think deeply about my English learning. Learning is to use. I tried my best to use what I have learned. Learning is to think, I tried not to restrict my words when preparing, but to free it so that I could express my real emotions on stage.

Thanks for my parents, friends and teachers, for their support and instructions!

Next week, I will be standing on the stage in Beijing. I will hold it with might and main, proving my words: Once I make a good, wonderful start, I try to make a fantastic, perfect ending!
